The JAVA Strikes Back....

Apparently the members of JAVA are angered over the organizing of BAJA - going places and characterizing them as a ''hate group'' (that's some strong terminology, when you think of what ''hate group'' indicates...)
Their assertion is: why not just fast-forward through Jessica & Antonio? Why set out to break them up?

Answer: because they're a horrible pairing that most OLTL fans detest, and they take up a whole lot of screen time. And we should have as little amount of fans as possible having to fast-forward through the show. Besides, many fans (like myself) - with multiple airings on ABC & SoapNet - watch the show in real-time, and can't fast-forward through things anyway.

Antonio and Jessica overall DO NOT work as a couple, and should be paired with other people. Bree Williamson has been all but totally ruined as a recast, due to that her entire storyline seems to prioritize itself first and foremost with Antonio. If a group is organizing to paint a crazy facade to TPTB that A&J are some sort of pop-culture phenomenon, why shouldn't there be another group that wants to tell the real deal?

I think people who don't like Jessica/Antonio - whether they directly associate themselves with ''BAJA'' or not - care for one character or the other (admittedly, I care more for Jessica than Antonio) - and simply want to organize an effort to send them in two different directions. Yes, I do hate the two characters together. But to characterize people who feel that way as a ''hate group'' is a bit of an exaggeration.
