Hi Dom, Yeah, I've stayed in contact and have attempted to not be annoying. Mainly I send a text message to check in. His mother is such a sweetheart. I really wish I lived closer to her. Last message from her I can share...

"Hi! Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you. As long as you are wearing green, take advantage of it and go have some fun. I am having a good day. It has gotten cooler, the sun is shining, I heard from you and my friend in Arkansas. It made my day."

So she's doing okay. I'm a little on the fence about checking in but really should. Typically I'm pretty good about hiding how I feel but, on a bad day I spiral when it comes to him. The magazine is going to be featuring a cover he asked me to make. He saw the semi-finished cover but it never got used. ::sniffle::

When I talk to her next, I'll be sure to let her know his online family is absolutely thinking of him, and her.

Now I need to get to work on the magazine... I've been dragging my feet because this is another milestone issue that I don't want to be dragged down by my own personal storm cloud. Put on a smile and press on I guess. If it's on time, then I will be able to go offline on the 16th, maybe even for a few days following.
