Good to hear that the whole idea has merit. I've not yet set my target date in stone (I don't want to wait until Nov), but I do believe that this may be what I need to get a first draft done too. At one time I said - How could I write a novel when I hadn't even 'finished' a short story? But now with a couple dozen of short stories finished, I'm becoming impatient with 'short'. Time to go long?
I will of course announce my madcap intentions so that I can be spurred on by the thoughts of public (forum) humiliation if I quit.
Onward,
Liz
