Thanks. I note you now have V3.7 out. I would like to restart my game but my friend suggests we wait untill you settle on one version for a while. Do you think that will be soon? Also we are concerned about the play balance you have pointed out. Has that been addressed? All aside though we are very impressed with the scenario. We have been hoping some dedicated people would do a East Front game covering the entire war. Thankyou.

Yeah heh, the updates have come at a little short interval at times, we apologize for that.

Hopefully this v3.7 is going to be THE version for awhile, at least in regards to playbalance. We are currently working on a alternative variant, that will have more Finland, less Turkey, but that's about the "only" change *crosses fingers*. You then need to deciede which variant you find most interesting. The main hold-up in getting this version out is me taking the time to get the Finland-map done. :)

The actual issues we have tried to address in these last versions regarding playability are caused by our experiences vs. each other. The russian player was really having a hard time in all our games. The question then is if this is because the russians are at a disadvantage, we suck at putting up descent defense, are brilliant on the offense or a combination.
One thing is certain tho. As the german player it is important to know how to methodically break down a solid defense line. Even in the earlier versions, before we gave the russians a bit more help, it took painstaking concentration from the german player, if he did not want to get stuck.

But glad you seem to like our scenario. Like yourself this kind of scenario was something we had been looking for ourselves, but since no such was around that fully satisfied our need, we had to build our own. :)
If somehow the game-engine eventually were to allow more units and events you can bet that we would make it even better, without the many compromises that we've had to make.

Regards,
Stefan 'Snefens' Kristensen
