"Wildscaping" (AKA Birdscaping) is actively landscaping your yard or garden to invite and encourage biodiversity on a long term scale.
My question is what sort of programs are being done at other Audubon centers on this variant form of integrating gardening and birdwatching? Are they successful?
Are there any known businesses in your area that do this seed selling for flora and fauna, where native plants are encouraged to provde food for wildlife instead of feeder stations (and invasive exotics are shunned and cursed with manic fever)?
I am inquiring because we are considering a partnership, of sorts, with educating the public and selling native shrubs and trees- and we wanted to see if other places have had any results with wildscapiing as a topic or theme.
