] Date Posted: Sun, Nov 09 2003, 18:54:30 Hi, my name is Kelvin.I was conned into buying the timeshare from IRN in 2001. I'd actually paid in full the $10k. I'm don't mind not taking back the amount paid. However, the resort management at Thailand sent me a mail recently asking me to pay the maintance fee of $345. I've no intention of paying any maintance fees and had set aside the letter. Does anyone knows if they'd be able to sue me for not paying the maintance fee? Is there any other options left for my case? Can I actually cancel the timeshare, even if I don't want the $10k back? Looking forward for any help/advise available. Tks. Date Posted: Sun, Nov 09 2003, 23:08:12 From what the agent company told me, they'll cancel your membership if the maintenance fee is not paid. They'll then just sell your membership to someone else. From what I understand, I don't think they can or will sue you. You'll already be losing the membership. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
