] Date Posted: Mon, Dec 11 2006, 23:21:25 Does anyone knows anything about Emperor Resorts International at The Adelphi in Orchard area? My sis and I were being invited at 1.00pm noon time to listen to the talk about timeshare. We were not allowed to leave the place till 10.30pm with no food. They would not let us leave till we have no choice but to sign then we were allow to leave the place. In the end, we did not pay any maintenance fees and they keep sending us letters. After a few years later, we received a call and was told about enabling us to cancel the whole contract but in return we have to pay SGD1500.00. We did it reluctantly and in the contract we use a pen to write not willing to do so. Does anyone ever face this crap from this company?
