This week, i received a call informing me that i won a designer watch, spa voucher and a trip to Yunnan, China, accomodation only. I only need to attend a 60min presentation to claim the prizes, no obligation to buy. The lady says she is from Lifestyle Services (a company doing advertising/promotion, not timeshare) and their client is Grand Seasons International (a cruise holiday company). She keep emphasising that they are not selling timeshare holidays. Sounds familiar? Ya, me too ... And i'm no stranger to this timeshare scam, as i once signed up with star resorts, luckily, i managed to get back some of the money i paid, though less than half, but still better than nothing ... haiz Considering what i have been through, i definitely won't be going down to claim my "prizes" - a designer watch (maybe u can get those for $10 at pasar malam), spa voucher (maybe must pay $$ b4 u can use), accomodation in Yunnan (maybe some ulu hotels or must attend more presentations over there) ...
