] Date Posted: Tue, Jun 07 2005, 6:05:57 Hi everyone, In May 2004 I paid J & K $598 to resell my timeshare unit, and today I took a trip down to Parkway Parade Shopping Center #07-06 to collect $498 which was agreed on in contract, however, I found they had moved out, didn't really surprise me very much! So how do we trace them to their new address if they are still operating which according to ACRA they are. They have the following addresses in HK: No.1 Science Museum Road, #25-11,Concordia Plaza,Kowlon. Hong Kong. Tel:852 26206388, Fax:852 26206612, and in Taiwan: 1202 Room, 12 Floor, No. 142 Ming Chuang East Road Section 3, Taipei,Taiwan. Tel: 8862 87120765, Fax: 8862 25456493, how relewant these addresses and numbers are today is anybodies guess! Date Posted: Sat, Jun 11 2005, 11:16:12 You made a mistake. Never mind. Learn from the mistake. Never trust timeshare resellers especially in Singapore. They have a history of taking people for a ride. Most of them are in collaboration with timeshare and holiday clubs. Don't be surprised when u receive a call from a timeshare or holiday club asking u to 'trade-in' your membership for a better 'deal'. For consumer who do not have internet assess or are not internet-savvy, they can: - Proceed to DP Service Bureau at International Plaza #05-17, to pay about S$5.00 for the profile to be printed. Please proceed to The Multi-Door Courthouse to lodge your complaint. The department is located at: - 1st Level, Subordinate Courts 1 Havelock Square Singapore 059724 You'll be required to produce the company's profile, supporting documents and identity card when lodging a complaint with either one of the departments.
