I am also sad to learn about our classmate's death...he will be missed, but for those who knew him he will live in our hearts and souls forever.

Perhaps it is time for us to not only live in the present and look ahead to a better future, but to be grateful for a past filled with fond memories and childhood innocence...

It is time for a reunion of friendships.

Please join Mitch Slotnick, Steve Rothstein, myself and others at the "Canarsie Friends and Classmates Reunion" on Friday, February 29, 2008, 7:00 p.m. at Mickey Mantle's Restaurant in Manhattan.

RSVP to Eric Fleischman or Steve Rothstein at: ericfchessmaster@yahoo.com or rothstein4@aol.com

Eric,

You have me more than a little upset, pal. I just can't believe that a supposed "Chess Master" such as yourself saw any tactical logic in piggy-backing your "self aggrandizement" in the form of a 2/29/08 "Canarsie Friends and Classmates Reunion" invitation on top of the message that I posted to Mike's friends and acquaintances, informing them all of his untimely demise. Did you even know the guy? Do you think your actions were appropriate or even the slightest bit respectful? I know we live in the age of non-judgmental attitudes, but dude...WHAT YOU DID WAS WRONG and someone needs to call you on it. I'm not a freaking saint, but I guess that duty is mine. Nuff said?
