Abi, You and I do think alike. My only objection to your statements about pornography is this. It is an exercised choice to avoid the viewing of it. Forget the objectification, that is ruled out when we don't view it. Not to mention people like Ron Jeremy, who uses only what was given to him, and I think in a morbid way is a role model for regular men who are overweight, hairy, and out of shape, it says "you can still get some" Huge dong aside. I also do not consider Victoria's Secret to be a gateway to pornography. They sell in damn near every size, so does Frederick's of Hollywood. Note that "Plus Sized" Models are starting to surface as well, slowly but surely. The effort is out there and it is realized that the general public is not a size 0. I think we are on the same page for the most part, although I would ask of you to re-think your thoughts about porn as forced media. Billboards, Commercials, Television, Fashion/Modeling, Radio and those annoying Trim-Spa ads, are the catalyst, in my opinion, to not only the objectification, degradation, and mitigating confidence of the large status-quo, not a released to video media that never gets positive press.
