He's a wife beater,
treats her like crap,
probably he's addicted to drugs and alcohol.
She's a battered wife,
and should leave him
'cause she'd be better off on her own,
she just doesn't know that.
Hockey players aren't the only ones who beat their wives,
but hockey culture may be less willing to talk about it than other groups of friends or co-workers.
She deserves better. We all deserve better.
If your guy is treating you like crap,
toss him back. He's a tool, and not worth your time. Trust me. If you refuse to be treated that way, you'll spend more time alone, but someone better will come along. Then any guy you're with will be much higher quality and worthwhile -- hockey player or not.
