Subject: Final thought

Here is a final thought for those of you who take great pleasure in trashing the guys. Someone made the comment, "where are they now, because they are nothing". This is how I see it. Like it or not, these guys are an elite group of athletes. They have made it to one of the highest levels of sport. They are a step away from the NHL. They have given up a lot to play in the OHL, and yes, maybe for the "dream", but why not? For the small few who make it, good for them. They will truely live the dream. For those who don't, what a ride I'm sure it was! And one they wouldn't trade for the world. And where do the ones go who don't make it? Back to school, back to their home towns to start a new career. They will pick up where they left off before they started this journey. They now have an experience of a lifetime that no one can ever take away from them. A glory that will be their's forever. And some of you speak like they should be ashamed of this?????? Why??? We should all be so lucky. So, to the ones who trash them I ask,"Where will you be next year"? Back at the arena lining up in your mini skirts waiting to catch the eye of the next hockey player, hoping that it will be you he screws next. So, who's embarassed now?
