TASK 15

I have visited some of the suggested web sites, but not from all the categories. So I have visited some sites from the same category, such as: dictionaries, encyclopedias, images and have fun. Concerning to dictionaries, usually I use the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English (CD ROOM/2000), but it is always nice to have as many sources as possible, since they are reliable. I also used to use the web dictionary www.dictionary.com . Concerning to encyclopedias, the Britannica is one of the most famous and it is interesting that sometimes while doing a work we chose a unknown web site instead of checking it at the Britannica or other good site. On images I have already used the clipart, but sometimes it drives me crazy with the spams. The fg-a.com/gifs.html is very interesting and practical. I took a quick view on fun brain and it is a nice source even to be explored by some of my students, great suggestion. For sure all these web sites are very helpful and interesting and I will save all the addresses, and as a suggestion I would like to do something different, I will suggest a site for Portuguese speakers. It is a Brazilian site, all about English and it has many stuff in Portuguese, but it is useful especially for beginners. Here you are: www.sk.com.br. I hope you like it.
