I saw that review and thought it was really funny.
They've taken it down now, though. Probably because Bebe read your post here.
They also just put one up that it so obviously written by Bebe -- right down to the the multiple exclamation points after every sentences -- that I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
You know, before _Rebel Heart_ came out, I actually thought Bebe was kind of cool. Now I think her picture ought to be in the dictionary next to the word "pathetic".

That was me, and I take your point. Whatever extra profits Amazon.com has made on _Rebel Heart_ have probably been outstripped by the wages they've paid their poor web lackeys to provide the constant ministrations Bebe's gigantic ego requires.
By the way, does anyone know how much _Rebel Heart_ really sold? Overall, not just on Amazon.com. I noticed one of the unbiased-reviewers-who-happens-to-write-exactly-like-Bebe claimed it was a "New York Times bestseller". Which I guess might be true in some technical sense, but clearly the book was no blockbuster. My gut feeling is that it was, while not an out-and-out bomb, still a money-loser for the publisher.
Anybody know for sure?
