Hi I would just like to thank you all who worked hard during my time at Hafan-y-Coed students tutors and of course those who give their time so freely to help to build and maintain the centre.
I want you all to know how great you were but please dont distress yourselves any more on my account. I would never wish to go BACK to Hafan this place is now defiled and corupt.
The reason I went there in the first place was for Paulette it was her dream and I thought I could help her make it into a reality,Tracy rang me when all of the corrupion must have been taking place (unbeknown to me of course )to ask if I trusted Paulette and I replied that I trusted Paulette with my life, it almost cost me just that because of threats made to me by Peter Adams and Co.
I am very happy now out of it all they were never my sort of people, but you students and helpers always were my sort well most of you anyway.
I was accused of fraud figure it out for yourselves students paid �100.00 pp.pw. in 2000 we did 5weeks atotal of 81 students 2001 we did 10 weeks 12 were organised but 2 were canceled 225 students. 2002 we did 16 weeks 400 students.
The basic cost were �700 everymonth morgage. Cost electric �204 per month cost fot water �185 per month cost for maintainance man �801 per month as you can see the basic costs were about �1500 a month over a period of 30 months adds up to Cost �45000 thats no food costs telepone Tutors costs furniture wood paint screws bedding pillows sheets carpets or staionary and dont forget for Gloria �3100 in wages and �1000 plus in travel.
Work it out for yourselves do you think that I could afford to do it all again I did it as a labour of love and for Paulette who I beleived was a freind
2003 would have been the first year that Hafan could have paid for itself and thats when Paulette and the others made their move.
I am with new friends now all from Hafan and you know what they dont cost me a penny so thank you all from the past and thank you all for my future-Jackie Keith Glenda Pat Paul Maryse John Val Lew Andrea and of course Mcheal my grandson .
