Hi! Thank you for your answer. Last time i forgot to write my mail address!:)
I discovered Lost & Deirious only a month ago. Movies, songs and books sometimes are my hidden and safe home. I was searching for movies about a love like mine. Unfortunately it's not easy to find them! And many movies show homosexuality in a naughty and vulgar way. "Fucking Amal" and "Better than chocolate" are the only movies i found with an happy ending!
I saw the poster of L&D on internet and i found it in a blockbuster. This movie touched me from the start...it's wonderful but full of pain. Pauli and Tori are common girls (there are not stupid stereotypes about lesbians), girls like me; i found something in the both of them. When i was a teenager i had the same fire, the same fear of being lonely and the same love for Shakespeare...his works had marked me since i was fourteen.
L&D shows passion, love, friendship, pain, injustice, cruelty of the society and the desperate attempt to be accepted by the family. Tori is so scared, she's always been "a perfect girl" and she must live as her family wants (how i understand this situation!), Pauli is a free spirit, cute, brilliant and they are both torn in the unbearable woe for a love that can't be lived.
This movie shows my greatest nightmare: to lose my love because of my family, to live without my great, crazy, passional love which doesn't know rules and limitations. When you have tasted that kind love, you are lost and delirious without it.
It all shows how our society and its absurd rules can bring to a so great tragedy. And why so much pain?...i still can't understand why.

Thank you for listening and write me if you want.

bye
Sam
