I wouldn’t be so fast as to call Assemblyman Maher a liar. He reportedly did meet with some of the “displaced vets”. Unfortunately, these “displaced vets” may have been some gentlemen from a homeless shelter that Ms. Sharon Toney-Finch had offered to pay. None of this, of course has been fully investigated and adjudicated. At any rate, you seem triggered by the immigration crisis. I would suggest to you that if you are a member of a political party, which I believe you are, that you change your registration to blank (independent). You would then be joining the increasing numbers of us who are not beholden to any political party and are independent thinkers. If you haven’t noticed, our Congress has become dysfunctional. Due to the loonies on the right in the Republican Party and the loonies on the left in the Democratic Party. The immigration problem will never be solved until the moderates who are still members of those two parties abandon them and demand action.
