Knowing does not equate to reporting. All one had to do is read the article referenced by 'Jamie', connect the dots, and apply some critical thinking. Assuming the flight recipients are legally vetted, I don't see why they would not fly into any airport that accepts commercial and/or private flights. These flights are paid for by "donors", and organized via "partners", albeit some with deep pockets and political connections and influence. "Donations" is key, NYS Governor states in her letter...“I cannot ask New Yorkers to pay for what is fundamentally a federal responsibility...”. Imo, if the federal government gives $1 to to NYS then all Border States can demand monies as well and go to court to get it. All these requests are about is getting someone else to send money...taxpayer money. Note, NYS is not asking to stop the flow or send people back. Regardless, the taxpayers are on the hook. Depending on who gains control of government, there is a chance amnesty will be granted for the "migrants" in the future, costs be damned. Regardless, net result, more deficit spending more taxes. I linked some of the latest economic data elewhere in a related thread, not good, do the math.
fyi...

"Miles4Migrants fosters relationships with other nonprofits that are working ‘on the ground’ to serve refugees and asylum-seekers directly. Our nonprofit partners, both across the world and within the United States, submit requests for flight assistance to Miles4Migrants. We do not have the capacity to vet flight recipients’ finances to ensure financial need, nor do we specialize in the administrative and legal work required to ensure each flight recipient is authorized to enter their resettlement country. This is where our nonprofit partners come in – each partner is responsible for vetting flight recipients to ensure they have the necessary legal approval and documents to travel to (or, in the case of those released at the US-Mexico border or from immigration detention and legally seeking asylum in the United States, within) their resettlement country. We do not accept flight requests submitted directly from individuals without a nonprofit partner acting as an intermediary. A list of our nonprofit partners is included on our NGO partner page."

"Our commitment to upholding human rights and dignity by removing travel barriers for forced migrants around the world is stronger than ever. Miles4Migrants and Welcome.US have partnered with American Express Global Business Travel, to make travel more accessible to Cubans, Haitians, Venezuelans, Ukrainians, and Nicaraguans seeking refuge in the United States."

So who and what is Welcome.US...
"Launched in January 2023 by the U.S. Department of State, the Welcome Corps is the boldest innovation in refugee resettlement in more than 40 years."

The U.S. Department of State is part of the federal government, no?
