I've been complaining for over a decade about the disgusting block where I live, just a block from City Hall. No lids on garbage, overflowing cans, garbage put out before 6 the night before pick up- and many cans out all day every day. Funny all these silly block clean ups when where I am it is because of the neglect of the slumlords and tenants- and the failure of the city to enforce any rules on the books already. Somehow I've managed to have the same garbage can lids for over a decade yet the neighbors "lose" theirs all the time. BTW, all you block clean up people, you can get your kicks every day on Ann Street between Grand and Liberty everyday. No need to move around the city.
