After reading the Comptroller's findings, one thing that stuck out,was the Comptroller's transparency comment. It was in regards to the proposed budget documents posted to the website. I feel duped because the Mayor ran on a ticket of financial stability, and transparency, amongst other self accolades. This is from the Comptroller's report:"During our review of the City’s proposed 2024 budget, two conflicting proposed budget documents were posted to the City’s website. Although variances between the budgets were found to be immaterial, presenting two different proposed budget documents is concerning from a transparency perspective as members of the public rely on the proposed budget to make informed decisions".
