I don't understand why these council members run for office if it's such a bother to listen to the people's concerns. Most public hearings have only a few people speaking. This last one was the exception to the rule. So, big deal, they had a very long meeting. One suggestion would be, when a long public hearing is anticipated, schedule it for a separate meeting. They don't respond to emails, phone calls, and now they want to limit time on public hearings. I suggest they don't run for office, we need people who are willing to serve the people, no matter how long it takes. If you ask any one of them they will tell you how just how hard they work and how deserving they were of those raises. Then again this council will pee on your leg and tell you it's raining!
