Subject: Game of Groans

Game of Groans rates the worst streets in the City of Newburgh by Ward. (I'm talking about roadwork -- paving/signage!}
DPW is apparently oblivious to pothole craters, lousy blacktopping, etc).

WARD 2 First pick: Corner of Washington St/Lake St.. impossible to drive straight across from Wash St. to Wash. Terrace. All vehicles have to avoid the center dangerous-dip, rubbly mess. this is a MAJOR THOROFARE.

WARD 1 first pick: Corner of Liberty/South St. chunky 3 inch layers of blacktop over brick, Central Hudson regularly digs it up. A ridiculous HIGHWAY-sized streetlight arm and DOT-rule white paint line so far from the cornerimpossible to see down the street.

more picks to follow....

Hey George: get out of your pickup truck and try driving these in a little SUV.
