To the four Councilpersons who voted not to give themselves raises: thank you. I know your decision wasn't easy, especially considering some of the bullying personalities on the council who get mean when they don't get their way. You did the right thing, and I appreciate you. I'm sure many in the community feel the same way.

As a black man living in the city, seeing three other people that look like me playing the poverty pimp role disgusts me. Ya'll made that grab for the bag and came up short. As D.J. Khaled would say, "Congratulations. Ya played yourself". Do better.

Special catcall goes out to the sucka in the Mayor's office. Word is he threw a tantrum after the meeting cause he couldnt fleece the city with that raise.
