Crazy how much disdain Shakur has for the FD, when his own brother was a city FF. A FF who I might add, benefited from his brother being on the council, by way of having a nephew who was hired. I will note, his nephew passed all required tests for position, but subsequently was terminated due to poor academy performance. And ever since then, Shakur has had the FD in his cross hairs. Shakur's comments inflame the community, especially the black voters with his skewed rhetoric on the department due to his own bias. Hopefully his tenure ends at his term expiration.
