It would be great to understand the reasoning for the hire, instead of smoke, and mirrors. I assume he was hired due to his legal background. Neppl, lawyer, Venning, lawyer, deputy police chief, lawyer. A lot of legal prowess in these top level positions. Not to mention how much are these salaries combined? Definitely over half a million, not including benefits. Hopefully the rank and file for the public safety departments reflect the same.
