No part of my comment stated to ignore the corruption nor did it dismiss your claim. I'll assume your claim regarding the snow emergency occurred outside of the stated snow emergency routes. If that's the case, I'll present a possible solution, and this applies generally ..the associated monetary charges should refunded to those wronged and be billed to the public servants personally and not the taxpayers' coffer. Again, individual accountability, no one individual or group should be exonerated by legal order or "community policy". Until that changes, then, in fact, wrongs will continue to be "normalized" across the entire spectrum by proxy. Rarely a politico or leader, current or wannabe, that "works directly on behalf of the communities that it serves" will think this out loud. Instead they'll offer appeasements via community program funds, in effect clinching their power with an indulgent voter base.
