Mr. Geraci was hired on Friday at a salary of $175,000. You ask about his being paid for security at “the school”. Mr Geraci is in charge of security at NECSD, which has many schools in the City of Newburgh, Town of Newburgh, and Town of New Windsor. He is not from Newburgh originally, and I don’t believe he is related to the Newburgh Geraci family. I believe it has been reported in the past that as Chief, he was a City of Newburgh resident. As head of security of the NECSD, he does not have to be a resident of the city.
