It's worth repeating, the 'Burgh is 'gente'fying in as much as it is gentrifying (the 'notice' made the distinction of color). Regardless, the 'Fiers realize that it's best to seek contentment in cleaning up their side of the street so to speak than to have contempt with expectations of others they can't control. The takeaway from the the vandalism, 'er, "Notice" is the act itself rather than the message.
