Subject: Opening Weekend

The Brook opens this weekend.
I wonder if they added another layer of wood to the paddleball courts.
Can't wait to smack some whiffle balls over the screen on the concrete paddleball courts.
NO consession tickets allowed this year during the poker games. (cash only)!!!!

Tournaments:

I was thinkg just of that this weekend. I now go to the Silver Gull. I remember the opening night of the Brook, they had a dance. My parents would plan wiht their friends, and then go to the party. When I was old enough to work in the concession I did, and was able to go to one of the parties. We always hoped we would have a new pad on our lounge. I miss those days.

Hey Pooba,

Here's my prediction:
We beat The Seaview in Paddleball, lose in wiffleball, and nobody goes out for waterpolo because we're all to busy playing cards at Russ' house (or watching movies in his basement)!

Not only fresh tape, but new Moleskin which I bought at Kenny's!!! The paddle weighs about 20 pounds by now. I'm hoping to make the big move to the Men's A side this year, even though I'm still under age (thanks for breaking the ice). How's Florida treating you, I have a 7 month old baby girl, and just bought a house in Roslyn (Long Island).

PS And NO sound on those 8mm's, I hope the upstairs neighbor doesn't come down to do laundry.

Jerry is almost 6 already & Jennifer is 2 1/2. They run Anne and I around pretty good. My son is just like me which presents a huge problem for much of the world.

Nobody hit more of them than RUSS BERNSTEIN. We had to wait 10 minutes or more sometimes for someone to walk by on those hot summertime afternoons, just to find the ball and throw it back over the fence..........
