I don't have any kids, but that is a really great idea!

I'm the biggest kid I know. My youngest brother calls me Wendy....and that I'm just waiting on Peter Pan to come to my window. LOL. I remember when Disney films were shown in theaters still, so I saw a lot of them during lazy afternoons with my mother and father.

I have been to the Drive In several times. The first time was so awe inspiring... I have had a good time every time we go. We saw the first Pirates of the Caribbean there, and all the kids were dressed up as Pirates!

Musicals are a lot of fun to watch, both adult themed ones and ones aimed at kids. I'll never forget the first time I saw Phantom of the Opera on stage. Granted, that is an adult themed musical. There are several family oriented musicals out there that are great, like Cats, Beauty and the Beast, and definately the Lion King. Not everyone can afford to see a show even when it tours, but I know that Cats is out on dvd for the kids. I wish they'd work on at least filming some of these for children to watch. I'd like to see a few of them myself! To see a Disney show on tour is very expensive, more expensive than most non Disney shows, actually.

I'm not sure about Tv shows these days. I love my not so wholesome ones, but I wish that ones would come along like the Waltons again. I miss Dr. Quinn a lot! Maybe they just broke the mold. LOL.

I bet that your kids would like Red Skelton too. I don't know if I spelled his last name right, but he was very very funny.
