To be honest I really liked David better than Curt. I wish Mary didn't dump him for Curt in the first place. In Season 7 "The Pin-up" David Spencer visits Mary Ellen, attempting to convince her to return to the hospital. David states that John Curtis cannot fill the void of his father. I wish he just grab her and kiss her.
