I don't remember how they said G & G met.

My husband and I met when I was working at a drugstore. He was a regular customer and was looking for his friend who usually worked on Sunday. That was in 1979. We were married in 1986.

Back then my husband was young, and if I had to say that he reminded me of any character on The Waltons, I'd have to say, "no one." Now though, at 65, he is so much like Zeb that I love watching The Waltons. I hadn't watched in years--had seen every episode so many times that I couldn't watch another minute. Popped a DVD in recently and was amazed at how similar the behavior was. So now I watch with new eyes.

The Waltons. It's like an old classic. You can revisit it in every stage of life and find something new.

Joan
