That phrase means different things to different people. To me it's all about music that elicits an emotional response. Maybe start tapping your foot. Maybe it make you sad. Or maybe it just brings back memories.

This radio series from BBC 4 is about all that and more. There is popular music, classical, country, jazz, liturgical, and the list goes on.

I'm likely the only one on this message board who likes opera, and it's red-haired step-cousin Broadway music.

But regardless of favorites, I can almost guarantee everyone will something "good" from this series. It is available for on-line listening or MP3 download. If you have a moment, check it out.
