I thought he was maybe OK until he recorded "Rhinestone Cowboy" The vocal on that definitely impressed me. He showed off a low register I didn't suspect he had. The total vocal range must have been about two octaves (maybe a bit more. memory is a little rusty.)

This in addition to being a pretty darn good guitar picker. (Though to be honest, I am easily impressed.) Harp, you reading this? What did you think?
