Subject: I thought this series was great! My memories of the forties are few and fuzzy. This certainly helped fill in some gaps. I quite liked country of the 50's and 60's: Hank Williams, Johnny Horton, Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves, et al. I moved more to Rock in the 60's, and I liked Folk music that was popular then. I found it educational to learn that Folk and Country actually shared the same roots. Glad Wayne sent out that e-mail to let us all know. Otherwise I might have missed out.
