When I was going to Wharton Jr. College, Roy and the Traits, B.J. Thomas and THe Boogie Kings were constantly playing Dances around that area. Of course we had our little Band that was Gigging also and through that we got to know each other pretty good. Many times I've run into Roy and we'd grab a table somewhere and catch up on what was happening and reminice the old days. Last time I visited with him was at a Sunday Bar Jamm where he had dropped in just to say Howdy to old friends. His Son "Sundance" made him awfully proud continuing the singing talent.
