A slight shadow crossed the horizon, an outline against the warm evening light. A two-legged, but different somehow. She moved in and among the many equines, unafraid and almost curious, simply moving out of their way and continuing to admire the many pulsing gems around her. Allowing her ebony orbs to graze the many bands clsutered on the backdrop of emerald turf, she spied the small Friesian herd. Coming down wind, she stopped about fifty feet away and slid down to sit, her back up against a tree, and waited for the wind to change. When it did, she knew they would find her almost instantaneously. Then would be the big test, would they flee? Or would some higher curiosity drive them to investigate? Only time would tell.
