Female paid close attention to the reaction of the herd. She had guessed they'd either been around humans before or just werent afraid. Horses out here were skidish mostly so she leaned to one theory. She cliked her tounge again and pulled at Lyra's reins. She made her way closer to the mare, purposely stepping on a few twigs that crunched beneath her weight. There was nothing worse than a startled equine, she had learned that from experience. She took note of the swollen barrel, imagining it wouldnt be that hard to catch her. She also noted her size, young maybe? or just a small horse, both were logical.

Lyra was quick to follow in pace with her human, nickering a bit. She was more interested in the stallion then the other mares around. She kept the direction of the mare though, her human obviously wasnt as interested as she was in the stallion.
