Hi, I'm Patrick. I live near Grand Rapids, MI. I am 58 and found out I had hepatitis c in 1999. I believe I got through the use of needles in 1971 while I was in Vietnam. Today I am clean and sober. I attend AA frequently. In March, 2011 my wife moved out and I think that would have happened anyways after I start treatment soon. She never empathized with my hep c in the past even when I did a previous treatment. Looking for someone to connect with who is dealing with hep c and some understanding.

Hello Patrick. I live alone in Canada and would love to make a friend with someone who understands what living with hep c is all about. I am too afraid to connect with anyone where I am living because I have to be honest about my condition. I do not want to be judged by my past. I too am a recovering addict and feel quite lonely at times. I am 44, seperated and quite lonely. My health is good though.
