Date Posted: 12:55:15 03/21/09 Sat Fellow Expeditioners, This coming weekend, Friday March 27th to Sunday March 29th, will be the Manistee River Trail Hike and Yak. We will meet at the Institute of Leisure Arts Friday Evening and enjoy some campfire time, maybe see a movie (at the Institutes cabin theater), maybe take the zipline, or any range of activities. As an alternative, participants can meet us a Red Bridge between 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Saturday. You may Hike and Yak or just Hike. We will take the Manistee River Trail (east by southeast side of the river) – about an 11 mile hike. We will camp on the NCT side of the river at the northern most campsites. Sunday morning we will Yak back to Red Bridge. I have gotten very few final confirmations. Below are the solid confirmations. If you are not on the list and will be attending, let me know ASAP. If you need a kayak or canoe, let me know.
