You just need a basic covering since you don't have to worry about rain. You can get silnylon chaps from many places like moonbowgear.com, Equinox, and Oware. Chaps don't cover as fully as pants, but if they're just worried about occasional skidding on ice they'd be adequate. >I guess they are landing on the ice via Zodiac.
