Was the message that has this whole fandom upset and fracturing really directly from Roy? Did he know it was being posted to all of us, everywhere? The agent herself said that she is the only one who speaks for Roy, if there was a message from him concerning Mira why did it come from Maxine?
That's the $64,000 question, isn't it? At least, now we know the "truth," as it came from Roy's agent, as opposed to all the confusing and not particularly credible "third-hand" information we've all been fed on the message boards. It saddens me that the fandom seemes to have become an "us against them" issue, but I have no idea how to fix that.
I was at MIRA this year. I think Roy is a great actor, and rather nice eye-candy, but frankly, he wasn't missed. MIRA is not about Roy; it never was. It's about the fantastic work they do, especially with the children. Supporting a cause that touches my heart, not to mention laughing my a$$ off and having an amazing time with amazing people, while helping the children; that's what it's all about.
