Thanks for the quick response though it's not much to go on. I was hoping for something a little more specific, but we will make due with what info we have.
Might I suggest Dal Bellos' Instructions for Guards & Pickets? It seems to be a pretty comprehensive study on the subject and should prepare us fairly well for whatever type of duty we might find ourselves in, even guarding the officers sinks.
I wouldn't think that we would do a full Guard Mount Parade if we're on Campaign, (Pg. 15 thru 24) so pages 25 thru 52 should help us with the majority of general guard duties, procedures and compliments that we will need get us through most situations.
