Jackets:

-Pen jackets and trousers

-Undyed wool jean jackets and undyed kersey jackets (no trim on any of these that we know of)

-civilian jackets and sack coats

Trousers: Civilian or issue cotton or wool jean trousers

Shirts: Civilian shirts such as "Louisiana" and others

Shoes: CS issue or civilian/import, some fed issue

Hats: Slouch hats (majority), caps (very few)

Accouterments

-TBA (need weapon type), but likely early war US arsenal or Baton Rouge, etc)
-Lone Star buckles or civilian belts

Knapsacks: Mex War pattern, fed double bag or blanket rolls (civilain or fed blankets, coverlets).

Canteen/Haversack: Tin drum canteens (maybe a very few fed smoothsides), cotton haversacks of various types.

Some fed stuff is ok - a few knapsacks were captured at Iuka but it is unclear if we got any.

Weapons - anybody know what the 2nd Texas carried?

Any idea on ground sheets?

D
