Thanks for your note re. Gen. Griffin's letter. It provoked some questions which may be answered in the course of time so if my impatience is inappropriate please regard it as enthusiastic eagerness.
1. Gen. Griffen suggests that we roll [bring] 200
cartridges per man. This will be a problem for the Lazy
Jacks. Should we order them from a supply source in the
US, eg Mike Watson, and have them delivered to a
friendly soul to bring to the event for us?
2. Will the uniform and equipment guidelines for our
company vary from or be the same as the MVB? Either
way, when will these be agreed and published?
3. Gen. Griffen suggests a ration contribution of $5.00
per man. Should we send this now to the address he gave
or is there a destination in our company for these
funds?
Any help with the above will be most gratefully appreciated.
