Subject: Give'em Heck at Franklin, Fellas!

Comrades,

In reviewing the messages on this board, I can't help but get excited thinking about the great experience that Franklin promises to be, even though I regretfully won't be able to be there with you. It is TREMDENDOUS that the outstanding company that first fought and marched together at Mansfield is being kept intact, and has even seen some very high quality additions. Each of you whom it was my pleasure to serve with at Mansfield/Pleasant Hill is my honored Comrade for life, and I look forward to the day that we again take the field together.

If there's any possible way for me to swing it, I hope to join you boys for at least one event next season. Please keep me informed as to developments for 2005.

I look forward to the great AARs from Franklin!
