Gents,

What Baker has mentioned here is totally correct. The 15 TX Co. B-G-H only had 29 men on the roster at Franklin (info provided by Tim Bell of the 7th TX). It is important that each of our companies come as close as possible to the original company they represent, and hopefully not go over. This is necessary not only in helping balance out the companies, but matching the original company strength for the drawing (lottery) of names from the roster. Please understand the each of our companies we will be drawing from all the names of the original company they represent; survivors as well as and casualties.

If anyone is willing to switch to a company that is in need of men, that would be much appreciated, but we will not force people to do this (we will not split up pards). These companies include the Texas Rifles and the 1st TX (Colorado)/1st Georgia State Line. It would really be helpful if any future registrant be directed to these companies.

Thanks for the help.
