Did some research on Eutaw Texas, in Limestone County. Here is some more tidbits for you. Eutaw was before the war the most important town in Limestone County. There were four stores, 2 churches (Salem Baptist and Mehtodist), a tevern, a blacksmith (I worked there before the war), a stage coach stop and a school run by a Mr L.E. Trezant.
I also went throughthe graveyard directory to get names of people who might have lived in town during this time period. Now that was a chore. However I did find a ton of names. We may have to use our minds a bit as most mens names on the graces contained only thier first two initals and their last names while the women had the complete names.
