Hey y'all.
Here's what's been proposed so far with the RRB. They are (I believe)proposing to depict the 6/15th consolidated regiment in Granbury's brigade. Rob Williamson, who commanded company C (Texas Rifles) on the late preservation march, will command a group whithin this battalion. Depending on how many we have sign up, will dictate whether he commands a company, wing, or whatever.
Since y'all are still (wisely) using this board to communicate, I'd like to see those interested from our preservation battalion stick together whithin the same organization. Be that a company or wing or squad, I'd like to see us all shoulder to shoulder in Tennessee this fall. Maybe we can use this board to get all of our interested parties together and join up en masse?
Whether Austin's battalion, or the consolidated units, I believe the plans are to move campsites every night and practice the same fight, march, fight, philosophy on a much smaller scale. If I hear anything more, I'll post it here.
Thoughts?
